A Symphony (2004)

- to a tree

Eating all the snails around you
(we'd rawly all eat)
Just to make it go slower
(if it worked)

To make it get softer
I lie on fresh moss
At your feeted roots
The finest cushion of leaves
Packed with lace
Just to pace cobwebs away
From our frowns

As a bird I'd be
If some wishes came true
In dreams we can't remember
Alone or in a garden

Friends lost their ways
While a bird lost its mind
Thinking itself human
To fly in glass metal

- While you were cut down.

acrylic paint on fresh paper, happened in 2004, before and after

tree-cutting and plastic in waters, happens every day
