petrichor summing up petrichor

“All our life, so far as it has a definite form, is but a mass of habits.” (William James)
crunchy enjoyment
crying stones

You made stones cry
- you still do.
Keep your word or
Don't come in saying that
- you love, tonight.
No thought has come
(through, true)
To us
As a rainbow a shield so
...
Don't come in saying that
- you love, tonight.
So busy you broke
(a promise and more)
And left stones to die of sadness so
...
If years after
- you wake up crying
It probably means it meant now
Years after
(maybe only for you)
It meant at least for someone
- you love tonight.

Keep your wind or
Touch what can't be
(so you've got to heal it)
- if you don't want to keep on
Waking up crying, years after.

You made stones cry
- you still do.

Drops of your heart are laughter
I miss knowing while you've got mine
To weigh and ponder about.

Enjoy.
